Congratulations to Newborn Behavior International Japan:

Professor Shohei Ohgi

Congratulations to Professor Shohei Ohgi and his colleagues Drs. Yukiyo Nagai and Masako Nagata, Eiko Saito and Mariko Iwayama on the establishment of Newborn Behavior International Japan (NBI Japan).  NBI Japan builds on and enhances the great tradition of NBAS and NBO training and research that has existed in Japan for over 40 years.  When Dr. Tomitaro Akiyama and his colleagues, Shohei Ohgi, Chisato Kawasaki and Toshiya Tsurusaki came to Boston Children’s Hospital to work with Dr. Brazelton and Dr. Nugent in 1983, who could have dreamed that their work would have had such a profound impact on the lives of infants and families across Japan and that its influence would continue to flourish forty years later with the establishment of NBI Japan!

Join us in paying tribute to the Japan team’s decades of accomplishment in NBAS and NBO training and research and their participation in our global community.
